Mr. Maher joined TDC in 1988 and directs the company's engineering operations, construction projects and technically-challenging building renovations.  He has had direct responsibility for more than 22,000,000 square feet of space in his time with the company.  He also oversees TDC's physical due diligence on acquisitions, and arranges and directs third-party engineering and vendor relationships at newly-acquired properties.  Mr. Maher's areas of expertise include a strong knowledge of building systems such as energy management, water infiltration, building sealants and building foundations.  He works out of the company's San Francisco office.

Prior to joining TDC, Mr. Maher established his engineering career working in the maritime industry, serving as Engineering Officer, Port Engineer and Manager of Construction and Engineering Operations with Nauru Pacific Lines, Rainbow Navigation Companies, Tractug Corporation, and the United States Maritime Administration Fleet.

Mr. Maher received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Technology from the California Maritime Academy.
